Technology companies with new products or services with an application within the meetings, incentive, conference and events (MICE) industry have until 8 September 2017 to enter the renowned ibtm world Tech Watch Award.
The winner will be announced at ibtm world 2017 which takes place at Fira Barcelona from 28-30 November.
The hotly contested award gives technology companies with new products or services relevant to the meetings, incentive, conference and events (MICE) industry the opportunity to showcase their product to thousands of high profile global buyers, influencers and media in one of the industry’s leading technology arenas, the Innovation Zone at ibtm world.
This year there are three categories for the award: Logistics and Production, Management and Marketing and Audience Engagement. Judges will select a winner and two finalists in each category, who will all be offered the opportunity to feature in ibtm world’s dedicated Innovation Zone. Judges will then vote for one of the three category winners to be named Tech Watch Award 2017 winner.
Kerry Prince, Portfolio Director, ibtm events, commented: “The ibtm world Tech Watch Award offers businesses a rare opportunity to showcase new products to a high-profile audience and previous winners have seen tangible long-term benefits from the exposure they’ve gained. Footfall to our Innovation Zone is increasing year-on-year; entering the award is a great opportunity for organisations to capitalise on the fact that our attendees have a huge appetite to discover and experience the latest exciting technologies that could really make a difference to their business.”
The Tech Watch Award is the industry’s longest-standing award of its kind, and is extremely well recognised across the MICE industry, thanks to the exposure winners receive during and post the event, as well as its high profile judges.
Entries will be judged by a panel of well-known experts from the events and technology industries, chaired by tech industry stalwart, Corbin Ball. Judges include Michelle Bruno, President of Bruno Group Signature Events; Dahlia El Gazzar, Founder of DAHLIA+ Inc; Ruud Janssen, Founder of TNOC.org and co-founder EMG; Pádraic Gilligan, Managing Partner at SoolNua; Paul Hussey, Director of The Conference Doctor and Julius Solaris, Founder and Editor of Event MB.
