Independent PR and brand communications agency davies tanner is set to launch its new Q&A series, dtconnects, which will provide an open forum for venues, agencies and organisers to discuss current event industry and PR related topics.

The first session ‘How to perfect your in-house crisis communications’ will be presented by Ken Kelling, Associate Director, davies tanner and will take place on Friday 25th January 2019 at 12pm (GMT) on LinkedIN. Kelling, who recently led a similar session at IBTM World in Barcelona, has more than 30 years of experience in PR and crisis communications. The session will unpick some of the biggest misconceptions around crisis communications and share top tips to ensure inhouse communications are watertight and policies are comprehensive.

Each Q&A will feature a spokesperson from the events industry with a focus on a set topic, attendees can submit their questions live during the session or in advance to dtconnects@daviestanner.com. Upcoming topics for dtconnects include how to work with influencers, how to amplify presence at tradeshows and how to maximise coverage in the media.

Sue O’Gorman, Marketing Director, davies tanner said: “We’re delighted to launch this new initiative, dtconnects. The events industry is all about collaboration, engagement and learning from our peers and we believe this Q&A is the perfect platform to do all three. As an agency we have more than 20 years of experience within the sector and we want to share our knowledge with the industry”.
