The Ascott Limited (Ascott), CapitaLand Investment’s wholly owned lodging business unit, has scooped 27 awards at the 28th annual World Travel Awards, including winning Europe’s Leading Serviced Apartment Brand 2021 for its Citadines Apart’hotel brand.

Ascott received 27 awards at the ceremony, with nine going to its European brands. This included Citadines Islington London, the newest addition to Citadines’ UK Apart’hotel portfolio, being awarded the accolade of England’s Leading Serviced Apartments 2021.

Citadines was also awarded Leading Serviced Apartments 2021 in Belgium, Spain, Germany and France, andLeading Serviced Apartment Brand 2021 in France, for the second consecutive year; and in Germany, for the ninth consecutive year.

Citadines Apart’hotels provide comfortable home-from-home environments with fully equipped kitchens and spacious living areas, hotel services and locally-influenced experiences so guests can ‘live like a local’.

The World Travel Awards recognise leadership and excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry, with Ascott, one of the world’s largest international lodging owner-operators, collecting awards in the following categories:
