Following a competitive pitch, we are delighted to announce that we have been appointed by Farnborough International to handle the launch of its major new exhibition and event venue at Farnborough, the home of aviation and the world famous Farnborough International Airshow.
Building on the success of the existing Farnborough International Venue & Events space -Farnborough International’s additional venue will create a new, 20,000 sqm, state-of-the-art, multi-purpose footprint on Farnborough’s 100,000sqm airfield site. Just 35 minutes by train from central London, Farnborough and the surrounding area is the business powerhouse of the South East – home to many big name corporate companies as well as the multi-billion pound trade deals that are regularly sealed at the Farnborough International Airshow.
We will handle communications to the event industry about the new venue, up to and including its launch by the end of 2018. The agency will be directed by Farnborough International’s Marketing & Communications Director Andy Pearcey with the account managed by Ken Kelling, Associate Director at Davies Tanner.

Our brief is to build awareness about the new venue and to reinforce Farnborough’s position as a destination for business events. Farnborough International is currently undertaking a brand review that will pull together different strands of the company’s business, including its existing and forthcoming event spaces.
